Noosa Summer Swim – late January / early February annually at Main Beach Noosa Heads. The ocean swimming main event is a 2km swim.
Noosa Festival of Surfing - mid March, is the world's biggest surfboard riding event. It is held at First Point & Lions Park Noosa Heads and it recognises the soul of surfing in one of the best surf locations.
Noosa Food and Wine Festival - late April / early May, attracting leading chefs, restaurateurs and foodies, with over 100 events held over three days at Lions Park Noosa Heads.
Noosa River Festival / RiverFest – mid May, live music and performances, and food stalls at Lions Park, as well as sailing regattas, rowing races and fishing competitions organised by the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club on Gympie Terrace
Long Weekend Festival – mid June, located in Noosa Heads lasting ten days and encompassing many cultural events, such as theatre, literature, music, dance, film, visual arts and literature and cuisine.
Noosa Country Show – mid September, a predominantly agricultural event with horse, dog and cattle shows, Wood Chopping, along with fairground attractions, at the Pomona Showgrounds Noosa Hinterland.
Real Food Festival – mid September at Maleny Showgrounds, a celebration of the wonderful variety of food that Sunshine Coast producers, manufacturers, retailers and restaurants have to offer.
Fashion Week International - late October is the premiere fashion event on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland calendar. Coolum Resort, Coolum Beach.
Caloundra Music Festival - early October, at Kings Beach with Australian and international artists, live art, roving performers, beach-side carnival, buskers, and family entertainment.
Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival - late October, including an ocean swim and similar contests, known to draw more than 30,000 spectators to Noosa Heads.
Woodford Folk Festival - between Christmas and New Year's Eve, the festival runs over six days and six nights featuring over 2000 local, national and international performers, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
